Galvanized TY fittings are used to split a round duct run into two branches, with one branch continuing straight and one branching off at an angle. The angled branch of the TY fitting reduces turbulence compared to a standard tee, resulting in lower pressure drop and better airflow balance. 26 and 28 gauge galvanized steel construction. Available in common size combinations for 4" through 6" round duct systems.
